Anjos do Sol (Brazilian movie)

I saw this movie by reference of my friend from Brazil. It is unbelievable movie from Brazilian production, name is "Angels of the Sun" in english unofficial translation. Are you asking me why unbelievable movie? It's simple to answer of me because I'll understand never how parents are able to sell their child. 12 years old girl Maria, living in dire poverty with her family in Northern Brazil, is sold by her fisherman father to prostitute. This is first terrible and unbelievable thing of the movie's story.

Second terrible and unbelievable thing: How may anybody make use of children to his (her) business like is prostitution?? Yeah, I know, it isn't only to prositution but I'm talking just about this movie. And you can look that just men don't do that but women do that too.

Maybe last unbelievable thing for me: the men who are looking little gilrs for their sex fun. They pay a high price to deflower virgin child prostitutes.

Who is able to do that??? I'm frustrated to vomiting...

Sure, these things are terrible and unbelievable for me. But it may not be impossible for somebody another, may it? Watch the movie and you'll see.

Why poeple are doing that things? I think it is happening just for money everytime. People are bad, infected with money. World is manipulated, controled by money more and more today.

Babel

Somebody's saying bad movie, idiocy or something like that but I'm saying great movie. The movie is about different stories of different people from four different parts of the world who are in connection by one rifle and mainly by one sad thing - their suffering.

Director Alejandro González Iñárritu takes pleasure in edging way and jumping between those stories. Who saw his movie "21 grams" so knows what I'm talking about. Simply, you must see whole movie from start to end to understand it.

Finally I can say this:
so much pain, so much love... so much crudity, so much kindness...

The Guardian

I saw another new movie and what can I say now? Maybe, Kevin Costner is back. I think that this is one of the better movies where he was performed. This movie is not bad but it isn't so great and I liked it.

We can get knowledge something little about training and work of U.S. Coast Guards. Scenes on heavy sea with good 3d sound are great and very dramatic. You can find a smiling scenes there too but you don't wait movie deep ideaded. At least I didn't find it there. But it would not be american movie without love story and with happy end, would it?

So finally, probably you are leaving cinema with chuckle on your face...

The Pursuit of Happyness

The movie inspirated by true story is other great movie which I saw. It's simply amazing.

Performance by Will Smith is excellent - other nomination to academy award for the best actor. And the little boy-actor is great too and he is so sweet.

(Ehm, I want the son like him, I must just find a black wife... :-)))) hahahaaa)

For example, the part when Will is crying with his son in the arms on the toilet is very emotive. When I saw the movie second time I didn't cried yet in this part but the first time I almost was.

Or the other interesting part from other side, very funny side, is e.g. when they are taking a sit in the car and the guy ask Will for his car. Will's son answer: "we haven't a car" and Will is screaming "oooohhhhh...." and play-act he has hurting of head.

Well this's just small interesting examples which you can see in the movie. I could write about another things from this movie here but I won't. It will be best when you'll look the movie yourself. So have a good look.

Blood diamond

I don't want to write any review of this movie here, others pages are for it, but I have to say that the movie is very strong for me. I don't speak about the "happy-end" which is classical for Hollywood movies but about the story, direction, excelent sound, screenplay and not least about great performance by Leonardo DiCaprio.

I think his performance moved this movie so much high up. Not to no end he is nominated to academy award for the best actor. He isn't alone a sweet "little" boy like in Titanic movie. He became one of the best actors.

And of course I must make a mention of great performance by Djimon Hounsou who's nominated to academy award for the best supporting actor.

This movie has almost everything what I like in the kind of movies. You can feel bitter, despair, sadness, injustice. You can cry but also you can smile in any parts of the movie. Definitely you will not bored with the movie.

I can say this movie is one of the best which I've seen up to now.
